As a fresh group of college graduates seeks to begin a new phase in life — trading student status for professional titles — they’d be smart to give Dallas a close look. The city ranks No. 2 on Market Watch’s recently released list of the Top 10 Cities for New Grads.

The best cities in America to live, work and play were chosen based on mean entry-level income, average price of a one-bedroom apartment, proximity to postgraduate institutions, and social opportunities. The list also analyzes unemployment rates and the percentage of the population identified as millennials (ages 25 to 34).

According to MarketWatch, the Top 10 cities for new grads are:

1. Atlanta

2. Dallas

3. Houston

4. St. Louis

5. Minneapolis/St. Paul

6. Raleigh

7. Denver

8. Seattle

9. Boston

10. Washington, D.C.
