Have you ever visited the Dallas Farmers Market? It is a market for real farmers to sell their local produce and it has such unique character and spirit. They believe in educating the North Texas community on how to live a natural and balanced life.
They are offering cooking classes to the community this summer…this is your chance to learn from the Chefs! Classes are $25 in advance/$30 at the door or you can buy the whole series for $110. This will be their 22nd year and counting.

July 16: Chef Dan Landsberg (Dragonfly Restaurant) Texas Summer from Peas to Peaches
July 23: Chef Tracy Miller (Local Restaurant) Savory and Sweet Summer Peaches
July 30: Chef Stan Rodrigues (Whiskey Cake), Wine Country Cuisine using Texas Ingredients
August 6: Chef Robert Clifford (Nick & Sam’s Steak House) Classic American Steakhouse Fare
August 13: Chef Gerard Thompson (Rough Creek Lodge & Resort) Cooking with Texas Seasonal Fruits and Vegetables

If you prefer not to do a class, just check out the Market everyday from 10:00 am to 6 pm and The Shed Fridays 10 am to 5 pm, Saturdays 8 am to 5 pm and Sundays 10 am to 5 pm. Both located at 920 S. Harwood in Dallas.
